Robert Taibbi è assistente sociale clinico con 47 anni di esperienza principalmente nell’ambito della salute mentale, ed ha lavorato come clinico, supervisore e direttore clinico con bambini, coppie e famiglie. È autore di 12 libri tra cui Brief Therapy with Couples & Families in Crisis; Doing Couples Therapy; The Art of the First Session; e Process-Focused Therapy. Ha pubblicato oltre 300 articoli ed ha scritto capitoli di diversi libri, tra cui The Encyclopedia of Couple & Family Therapy. Attualmente Robert scrive una rubrica online intitolata Fixing Families per Psychology Today, che ha ricevuto più di 13 milioni di visite. E' stato scrittore di rubriche per diverse riviste, e ha ricevuto tre premi nazionali di scrittura per il Best Consumer Health Writing. Robert Taibbi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 47-years of experience primarily in community mental health working with children, couples, and families as a clinician, supervisor, and clinical director. He is the author of 12 books including Brief Therapy with Couples & Families in Crisis; Doing Couples Therapy; The Art of the First Session; and Process-Focused Therapy. He has published over 300 magazine and journal articles and has contributed chapters to several books, including The Encyclopedia of Couple & Family Therapy. In addition, Robert currently writes an online column entitled Fixing Families for Psychology Today which has received over 13 million hits, has served as an advice columnist for several magazines, and has received three national writing awards for Best Consumer Health Writing. Robert is well known for his action-oriented, cognitive-behavioral approach, and he provides trainings both nationally and internationally. He is currently in private practice in Charlottesville, Virginia.
