Donnel B. Donnel B. Stern, Ph.D. is Training and Supervising Analyst at the William Alanson White Institute in New York City; Clinical Consultant and Clinical Professor of Psychology at the New York University Postdoctoral Program in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy; and faculty at the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. He is the Founder and Editor of a book series at Routledge, "Psychoanalysis in a New Key.” He has published many articles and book chapters, and has written four books, the most recent of which is The Infinity of the Unsaid: Unformulated Experience, Language, and the Nonverbal, which appeared in 2019. In the near future a new book will appear: Cultivating the Field: Relatedness as the Crucible of Mind. He has co-edited four other books, all of them devoted to presenting and reviewing the literature of interpersonal psychoanalysis.
